Duplex suites, dining from Sven Elverfeld, and exclusive shore excursions.
The much anticipated Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection launches this weekend with the 298-passenger, all-suite Evrima’s inaugural sailing from Barcelona to Nice. Here are five things to love about the new line.
Room to Spread Out
The smallest staterooms come in at a generous 300 square feet, with a double-sink bath and a private terrace. Other suites run from 429 square feet to the 1,091-square-foot Owner’s Suites with whirlpool-equipped terraces. Our pick: duplex Loft Suites, with a bedroom downstairs and living space and a terrace above.
Tastemakers
Five restaurants showcase a bold gastronomic agenda. The Evrima Room’s menus reflect the yacht’s regional position, Talaat Nam serves sushi and modern Southeast Asian fare, the open-air Pool House is the spot for casual à la minute cooking, and alfresco Mistral specializes in Mediterranean classics. The highlight: S.E.A. from chef Sven Elverfeld, who earned three Michelin stars for his Aqua restaurant in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Made in the Shade
Make the most of the yachting life on the aft marina, with its sleek, shaded sun loungers. Passengers descend stairs leading into the open sea to play with a variety of water toys, while bartenders pour chilled Champagne and shake up cocktails at Marina Terrace.
Happy Place
Relax to the sound of gulls and surf during treatments on the spa’s private terraces. Fitness instructors lead Pilates and sunrise yoga sessions, and personal trainers customize workout routines and offer nutrition counseling.
Insider Access
Shore excursions lean intimate and exclusive, such as touring the Côte d’Azur in a chauffeured classic car and truffle hunting at a Croatian family farm.
